Privacy
GoonGuessr needs no account and sets only the cookies it needs to work. There are no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
Cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
gg_anon | A random anonymous ID, so your game in progress, stats and streaks are kept without an account. | 400 days |
gg_age_gate | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so you aren’t asked on every visit. | 30 days |
No tracking
Nothing follows you around the web. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn’t identify you. There are no ads and no other third-party scripts.
IP addresses
Your IP address is used only for a moment, to stop anyone sending too many Guesses and Skips at once. GoonGuessr never stores it.
